Vision:
The Vision of First Assembly is to be used by God to lead people in Cleveland MS and surrounding areas into a deeper relationship with God.
Proverbs 29:18 says “Where there is not vision the people parish.”
Purpose:
Our purpose is to be servants and citizens of God’s Kingdom. In order to accomplish this we choose to live out Matthew 22:36-39.
Matthew 22:36-39 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And he (Jesus) said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
Growth Markers: Salvation and Life Transformation
The Growth Markers of First Assembly is focused on two things Salvation and Life Transformation. Salvation is when a person comes to a relationship with God through his son Jesus Christ. Life Transformation is what happens afterward. This is the process in which we grow closer to God by live has the Bible and Holy Spirit leads us. This is how we see and measure growth has believers in Jesus Christ.
